Processor (CPU)

The Processor (CPU) is the brain of a computer, containing all the circuitry needed to process input, store data, and output results.

We offer Processors of every level, and budget. Our most cost-effective processor is still very capable.

Upgrading the model will give you higher levels of processing power, important when gaming.

Graphics Card (GPU)

Arguably the most important part of a Gaming PC - the Graphics Card handles all the processing and display of the game as it is running.

Our base option, the NVIDIA GeForce GT720 2GB, will run a large number of games, but for more compatibility options, you can upgrade your GPU. Some of our higher-end GPUs, such as the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1080ti 11GB, will run every game out today - in beautiful Ultra 4K settings.

Memory (RAM)

Memory (RAM) is an important component, providing speed and multi-tasking potential.

Currently used Memory comes in three generations - DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 - with a higher number denoting an increase in speed.

It's Capacity, or Size, is measured in GB (Gigabytes) - the higher the number, the better the performance!

All of our computers come with 16GB of Memory as standard, unlike others, who charge for this upgrade. You can upgrade your RAM (Memory) right up to a massive 128GB!

Storage (Hard Drive, SSD, NVMe)

HDD, SSD, NVMe - What does it all mean?

Hard Drive (HDD) - This provides storage space for files, programs and games. Being a physical hard disk, it's sturdy construction means you'll generally get more space for less money.

Solid State Drive (SSD) - Like a Hard Drive, but much faster. We install the operating system (Windows 10 or 11) onto this drive, and it is lightning-quick for loading, and running games. As they are much faster, their capacity is a little more expensive

NVMe - A smaller version of the SSD, the NVMe is even faster still. With blisteringly fast loading times, adding an NVMe is a great choice.

All three options can be used side by side in the same PC, or alone.

Put simply, the more space you have, the most files you can store. This is the same for all Hard Drives (HDD), Solid State Drives (SSD), and NVMe.

WiFi and Bluetooth

All of our Gaming PCs come with a WiFi connection as standard - as well as the wired Ethernet port to connect your home router.

If you'd like to connect to Bluetooth devices, such as Phones/Headsets/Speakers, you'll need to upgrade to a dual WiFi/Bluetooth dongle.

Cooling and Fans

All our Custom PCs come with sufficient RGB cooling fans, you can add a large range of other cooling options - helping keep your components functioning as well as possible under high-demand.

The cooler the component - Processor, Graphics Card, Memory, or Storage - the longer it will last, and the better it will run.

Extra RGB case fans, an RGB CPU Cooler Fan, and even Watercooling systems can be added to all the Phoenix Gaming Customs PCs available.

Cases

Not all cases are born equal - but all of ours are born awesome.

Full RGB, Glass Display Panels, Unique Design and Professional Cooling - rest assured that all cases supplied by Phoenix Gaming are top of the range.

We have over 30 options to choose from - from major brands such as Fractal Design, Corsair, Cooler Master - and a huge range of Phoenix Gaming cases available too.

Operating Systems

An Operating System we all know and love - Microsoft Windows.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are the predominant Operating Systems of the day - with Windows 11 being reserved for as an option for our Professional Gaming PCs.

All PC games will run on these two Operating Systems, and all our Custom Gaming PCs come preinstalled and ready to go.
